The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions to the community.
SASSA is going to be rendering solutions which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a statement, the agency claimed it's alarmed with regard to the large variety of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The aim in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your superior number SRD of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This is often because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no entirely functional office committed to service the area daily.
